Ross Posner is Managing Partner of Ridgewood Infrastructure, which invests in essential infrastructure in the U.S. lower middle market. Illustrative investments include the Vista Ridge pipeline supplying San Antonio with ~20% of its fresh water under a long-term take or pay contract; Undine LLC, which owns and operates regulated water and wastewater utilities; and the Neptune subsea electric transmission line supplying Long Island, NY with 20% of its electricity under a long-term availability based agreement. Prior to creating Ridgewood Infrastructure, Ross was a senior executive at Allstate Investments responsible for over $10 billion of capital. As Global Group head, he created and led Allstate’s Infrastructure and Real Asset private equity business. Ross was also responsible for Allstate’s Project Finance and Private Placements portfolios.
Ross began his career at JPMorgan, working in its New York and London offices. Subsequently, he worked in mid-market private equity. Ross received a B.S. from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
